About our presenter: With over 15 years’ experience with softlines’ testing, Simon Tse is UL’s textile and apparel technical manager for the Greater Asia region. He is responsible for the review and interpretation of technical data and test results to help ensure softlines products are in proper compliance to international safety regulations and brand quality standards.

He is an Approval Signatory of the Hong Kong Laboratory Accreditation Scheme (HOKLAS) on Textile and Garments, including GB testing. He graduated with a bachelor honors degree in textile chemistry, a master’s degree in testing and certification and a master’s in business administration (MBA). His memberships include the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (AATCC), American Society of Quality (ASQ), Chartered Colourist/Associateship of the Society of Dyers and Colourists (ASDC), Certified Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) and Hong Kong Institution of Textile and Apparel (MHKITA).
